- Family Weekend Check-in: University Union First Floor
4:00 p.m – 9:00p.m. Pick up your registration materials and have your questions answered at the tables outside of the Office of Student Activities.
- Spencer Student Recreation Center
5:30 a.m.-11:00 p.m. Recreation center offers workout equipment and recreation for older family members, ages 16 and up. Friday pool hours are from 6:00-7:00 a.m., 11:00-1:00p.m., and 3:00- 9:00 p.m. Visitors must be accompanied by a registered WIU student. ID's required. $5.00 at the door. - Soothing Chair Massages: Spencer Student Recreation Center
2:00 p.m - 8:00 p.m. Massages by certified massage therapist Tammy Jo Miller. Please call (309)298-1228 to schedule your appointment today. Massages cost only $1.00/minute. Payable by cash or check at time of appointment. Spencer SRC membership is not required.

- Coffee, Tea, & Meet: Malpass Mocha Café, Malpass Library
8:30-10:00 a.m. Join other parents, university officials, and the WIU Parent and Family Association for a relaxed morning social. A free cup of coffee will be provided along with delicious pastries and other breakfast items available for purchase.
- Family Weekend Golf Outing: Harry Mussato Golf Course, 1215 Tower Road, Macomb
9:00 a.m. $18/person for this two-person, nine-hole, golf scramble.
- Student Assistance and Parent Service Center: University Union, First Floor
9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. The Student Assistance and Parent Service Center will be open to parents and students to answer any questions about the university.
- WIU Parent and Family Association Open Meeting: University Union, Capital Rooms.
10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon. The Parent and Family Association (PFA) Advisory Board will hold their annual open meeting. PFA will discuss membership accomplishments, fund-raising initiatives, as well as future goals. A late morning snack will be provided.

The Western Illinois Museum preserves and exhibits important aspects of the history of West Central Illinois. With a collection of over 6,000 artifacts the museum curates 3 to 4 rotating thematic exhibitions a year. Beginning September 1, the museum will present the exhibition Clay Works: Industry and Arts which explores the impact the industry has had on the development of the area commerce and culture. - Corn Maze: Horn Field Campus
1- 4 p.m. Located one mile south of Macomb, this 92 acre retreat includes woodlands, prairie, and several miles of nature trails. Directions and maps available at the sign in tables and online. $5 per person/$2 ages 6-12/Free under 6 years.
- Who Collects What...A fundraiser for the Western Illinois Museum at the home of collector, Ron Kepple at 17145 East 1600 road, Macomb
1:00-4:00 p.m. Mr. Kepple will open his collection of over 20 buggies and sleighs and share his stories of collecting. A short presentation on how to start collecting will be given by George Wanamaker at 1:30 and 2:30. Music will be provided by Fred Railsback and light refreshments will also be served. Parking is available but limited.Tickets are available at the museum on the corner of Washington and Lafayette streets or call the museum to RSVP at 309.837.2750. Individual tickets are $10. Family tickets are $20.
All proceeds will benefit the Western Illinois Museum’s collection and exhibition program.

- President's Picnic: Big Tent on Mall outside Hanson Field
3:30 – 6:30 p.m. Join us for a picnic with President Alvin Goldfarb. The chef-inspired picnic is sure to please the entire family before the big game with BBQ beef sandwiches, grilled chicken, pasta salad, chips, dessert and beverages included. Hot dogs available for children. $14 for students and adults and $5.25 for children. Registration is strongly encouraged. Limited cash-only walk up access.
